Hello all, and welcome to my new personal site.

I have been trying to find the time to get this site up and running for about 8 months now, but since leaving the University of Leeds last May(ish) its has been pretty non stop for me, but I’ve finally decided that enough is enough and I need to get this site going. The idea behind this site is pretty simple…

I spend a great number of hours each week trying to find answers to my questions, and because I’m the only tech guy in my company the answers lie in expensive books, or somewhere out there on the internet! So I’ve decided to put together things that I find through my days, in the hope that they will be useful to someone out there, and prevent them from having to do the long tiresome search that I (and probably you) have had to do many, many times before.

The Plan of Action

The content of this blog will mainly focus around the areas that I cover in my work, or during freelance projects that I may be undertaking at the time. I will try to keep the articles as informative and as easy to follow as I possibly can, and welcome all feedback you my have about my coding styles, techniques and suggestions.

The first post will contain information about apache rewrites, as I have just finished editing an .htaccess file for one of my clients.
